Integrated Biometrics and GripID have introduced the GripID FAP30, the smallest multimodal biometric device available, designed to resemble a modern TV remote or an old iPod Nano. It features IB’s advanced FAP30 fingerprint sensor, along with iris and facial recognition technologies. This compact device is touted as being about half the size of an average smartphone, making it exceptionally portable for law enforcement and border security operations.

David Gerulski, EVP of Integrated Biometrics, emphasizes the device’s innovative capability, stating that it offers “unparalleled biometric capability in a remarkably compact form.” Its titanium construction allows users to easily carry it on a tool belt, facilitating quick access for security personnel. The GripID FAP30 supports wireless connectivity to smartphones, tablets, and computers via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, enhancing on-the-go identification.
