Dalibard reiterated the importance of collaboration across the aviation ecosystem, stating that shared technology initiatives can significantly improve passenger experiences. British Airways presented successful biometric exit trials at Orlando and Los Angeles airports, showcasing the Traveler Verification Service (TVS) that streamlined boarding processes. Faster boarding times were achieved, with some flights completing the process in under 25 minutes, highlighting the efficiency gains made possible by biometric technologies.

Despite automation’s role, the importance of human interaction remains. At trials in Singapore’s Changi Airport, the reduction of manual ID checks allowed staff to focus on passengers requiring additional assistance, such as families or elderly travelers, thus enhancing overall satisfaction in what can often be a stressful environment.
